La Manga is a small fishing village some 3 or 4 miles from San Carlos. A little farther out, and a little smaller, is La Manga Dos. And still farther, and smaller still, is La Manga Tres. It consists of a couple of dozen shacks built on the sand at the foot of Cerro Los Algodones, which are used intermittently as beach houses by their owners who live in Guaymas some 45 minutes away.
